I’ve always been the person explaining economics to others — once to classmates before exams, and today to students across classrooms and screens.

I am Manvi Gupta, an Assistant Professor of Economics, teaching LSE-based Economics courses.

I believe teaching is not just about knowing the syllabus, but about understanding where a student is starting from and what they need to reach the same academic goal.

In economics, the syllabus is often identical for all students — but the way it should be taught isn’t. A student with a strong math background and a student without one need very different explanations, pacing, and practice.

That’s where my 1:1 model comes in.

Before we begin the syllabus, I spend time understanding your background, comfort with math, and learning style. Based on this, I design personalised notes, worksheets, and practice material so that you don’t waste time figuring out what to study or how to study.

My role is to give you clarity and structure — so you can focus on learning, not confusion.

I believe that when economics is explained well, it becomes intuitive — not intimidating.
